About Us
WHAT IS A VETERAN?
A “VETERAN” – WHETHER ON ACTIVE DUTY,
DISCHARGED, RETIRED OR ON RESERVE
IS SOMEONE WHO, AT SOME POINT IN THEIR LIFE,
WROTE A BLANK CHEQUE
MADE PAYABLE TO “AUSTRALIA”
FOR AN AMOUNT UP TO AND INCLUDING THEIR LIFE.

Our Shed is meeting place where 'veterans' and 'first responders', regardless of gender and their families can socialise, discuss issues with like-minded mates, enjoy themselves, learn new skills, work on projects together and get involved in activities to support our mates, our shed & the community.

We aim to create and maintain an environment for veterans and first responders and their families, where concerns, past trauma, health and welfare issues can be discussed with other like minded persons who have empathy through similar life experiences.

Membership is open to all serving and ex-serving Veterans and First Responders (Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance and Emergency Services ) and their families.
