Financial support
We like to see local donations support local communities so we encourage you to consider making financial donations to your local Men’s Shed.
Donations to AMSA will support us to strengthen the national Men’s Shed movement and advance the wellbeing and health of Australian men.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Donate products, tools or equipment
Donations of products and tools/equipment or pre-loved items make a real difference to not-for-profit community groups like Men’s Sheds.
We encourage you to contact your local Men’s Shed to enquire about donating tools and equipment, and/or pre-loved goods (for re-purpose).
For product donations across multiple Men’s Sheds, please contact us.
Partnerships
AMSA partners help us to provide offers, programs and assistance to Australian Men’s Sheds – for the benefit of Shedders and communities around the country.
We work with a wide variety of organisations to deliver resources, initiatives and funding into the national community of Men’s Sheds, according to each organisations’ partnership goals.
Your partnership with AMSA will assist us to connect communities for better wellbeing.

Leave a gift in your will
We understand that your loved ones come first. Once you’ve looked after those closest to you, we would be honoured if you think about leaving a gift to support our work.
It’s important to have an up to date will. Making a will helps to reduce the financial burden to your loved ones left behind, and gives you a say in how your possessions are left behind.
While making a will can be a daunting experience, it doesn’t have to be, and in fact, it’s quite simple. You don’t have to be elderly or ill to make one, and we would always recommend using a reputable solicitor.
Here are a few ways to leave a gift in your will:
- You can leave a percentage of your estate to a charity after your loved ones have been taken care of.
- You can leave a cash sum which is a specific sum of money that you would like to donate to a charity of your choice from your estate. You can ask for this donation amount to be index linked to ensure that its value remains the same over time.
- You can leave a specific gift of property e.g. machinery, antiques, a building or shares.
Your solicitor will be able to provide you with advice on which option best suits your wishes and personal circumstances.
