About our shed
About Us
Established over a decade ago by Tom Rolfe – a man with a vision. We are not a typical Men’s Shed as we have always had female members and (until Covid) tutored the selected students from the school whose grounds our shed is in. We enjoy a wide mix of ages and abilities with members ready to lend a hand with community projects when they arise.
Shed Activities
Furniture building, wood turning, various crafts including painting, boat building, miniature house building. We are currently involved with the school OSHC centre in creating items for their outdoor play area

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
