About our shed

About Us

The Shed was Started in 2015,The work shop has only been built late 2021 since then numbers have grown, we are currently building an Extension on to Existing toilet, to make Wheel Chair accessible, and Pavers to an Area for Wheel chairs, we have monthly BBQ's for our members.
All are welcome to the Peterborough Men's shed inc

Shed Activities

8Ball, Darts, Coffee and Chat, or just Relax, or tell a few story's In The Work Shop we Fabricate, rejuvenate, Repair, or Rebuild, and Make New Items, We also do work for the local hospital, as well as the Nursing home, we also do work for the community when required, a community radio station has just started up in the town we have been busy doing cabinet making for them, Drop in for coffee and speak to us on what you require done.

Men (and women) involved at their local Shed report increased self-esteem through participation and learning new skills; de-stigmatisation of experiencing mental health and de-stigmatisation of prevalent social issues related to mental health.

Watch — More than just a shed

The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.

AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
