About Us
The Gidgegannup Men’s Shed is a community-based Men’s Shed that provides opportunities for members to work on projects of their own, join in Shed activities and tasks, or just share time, recreation and fellowship with other members.
The Gidgegannup Men’s Shed is part of the nation-wide network of Men’s Sheds in Australia, and more and more world-wide. This collection of Sheds is supported by Men’s Shed of WA (MSWA) and the Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA). In this network, members are welcome to drop into any Shed and feel at home to spend some time, find out local information, or maybe fix something that needs attention.
We hope that you will find useful information in the website that shows how we support our members. Please get in touch if you feel we can be part of your lifestyle or undertake tasks that help you in your day-to-day life.
New members and anyone interested in who we are and what we do are very welcome any time, so feel free to drop us an email to info@gidgegannupmensshed.org.au

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
