About our shed
About Us
We assist men in our region, wherever we can, to understand that they are not alone and the only one who feels that way. When they attend the shed we help them to integrate within the shed and join in with others to help the local community, in this, they feel they are part of the community and able to wake up and enjoy life again.
Shed Activities
The Shed has become an integral part of the Dubbo community, with requests for assistance with various projects from all aspects of the community. Projects include Buddy Seats for all local schools, Charity Santa's Chair, Local Childcare Centres, Sports Clubs, Overseas charity organisations to assist the poor and impoverished, to mention only a few.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
