About our shed
About Us
We are a friendly shed.
Our membership has grown rapidly because of our reputation for being a welcoming and active shed.
We have a large fully equipped workshop that caters for wood work and metal work. There are always a wide range of wood work and metal work projects on the go.
We have a large social room. It’s a great place to meet and socialise with other like minded men. There is always a pool game and a cup of coffee on the go.
We have a very active bike group that restore bikes and have organised bike rides each week.
There is also a walking group and there is a very social walk or ride each Friday to Pettys Orchard.
We cook a meal each week for a social Tuesday lunch meeting. Tuesday morning is a good time to come down pay a visit.
You don’t need to be a “tradie” to join; we have members from many interesting backgrounds.
We are involved in many community projects. Our members really enjoy these because they feel that they are “putting back into the community”.
New members are always welcome. Give us a call or drop in to say “gidday”. Our Aims * Build friendship and camaraderie between members. * Contribute to the wider community * Promote & encourage healthy living for men

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
