About our shed
About Us
Starting off in 2007, Blayney Shire Community Mens Shed has maintained a membership of around 25, and is always welcoming new members.
We are now occupying our new shed with storage and space for carrying out work on larger projects. Members typically work together, helping each other on articles of personal or community interest. Refurbishing articles for community members is always on the agenda.
Opening on Tuesday and Friday at present from 10:00am to 2:00pm, or 'whenever we finish', shed members always start the day with a cuppa and a chat.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
