About Us
Allora Men's Shed is a friendly place for men to gather for mateship & support in our community,. Woodworking and metalwork are our main activities, but we endeavor to cater for all member's interests.Raised garden beds have occupied the 'green thumb' members, and lately we have been raising poultry for sale to the community.
We welcome all comers, skilled or unskilled. If you are skilled we encourage you to pass on your skills, and if unskilled learn from others at the Shed. Advice is always available.
We also welcome those with disabilities to come along and join in, however they do need to be able to look after themselves as we are not a care facility.
The shed is open on Tuesdays,Thursdays & Saturdays from 8:30am -11:30am (smoko 10:00ish)
All men are welcome to come along and have a chat, a cuppa and a look at what we get up to. The main aim is to provide a facility where men can get together to socialise make things and discuss health or other issues with a sympathetic audience.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
