The Australian Men’s Shed Association is thrilled to announce the rollout of the AMSA Insurance Program for 2024, from 28th February 2024 to 28th February 2025.
This year, we’ve made a strategic shift in our Public Liability policy, partnering with Insurance Australia Limited t/a CGU Insurance. This decision was influenced by a competitive market review and the potential premium increase by our former insurer, Chubb.
We are now able to provide our comprehensive insurance program at an adjusted rate of $28.50 per member, marking a savings of 50 cents per member.
This is a noteworthy achievement in today’s high inflation environment.
Everest Risk Group have updated and reformatted the Frequently Asked Questions for your ease of reference. We recommend reviewing this guide thoroughly before filling out the application form.
Please remember the importance of accurately declaring all members in your application. This includes both social attendees and those not using the workshop facilities. Accurate member counts are critical as any discrepancies could impact claim validity.
Included in the package are the following coverages:
- $40,000,000 each and every claim for Public Liability and in the Aggregate for Products
- $10,000,000 Association Liability
- Voluntary Workers Personal Accident
- Group Personal Accident (for Mutual Obligation participants)
- Industrial Special Risks – covering up to $100,000 for assets owned by the Shed # (with options for additional coverage)
