About Us
The North Balwyn Community Men’s Shed is to provide a focus for men in the local community to informally:
Enhance good health and develop friendships
Share knowledge and skills
Get involved in activities of particular interest or of community benefit
Or, just “chill out” with new friends
For $30, you can become a member of North Balwyn Community Men's Shed for life. There is also an annual fee of $50 and a $3 fee per visit.
Shed Activities
Personal projects, Designing/making/repairing various items, Community-based projects, Designing and making craft items for sale and donation, Vegetable growing, Monthly BBQ (last Thursday of each month)

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
