About our shed
About Us
The Lockington Men’s Shed is a safe and friendly environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time, and in the company of other men. The Men’s Shed is a place where you can make furniture, paint and restore family heirlooms or design timber toys for their grandchildren.
There is also tea and coffee and a comfortable area where men can sit and talk. Most importantly, you will enjoy good old-fashioned mate-ship.
Not interested in woodwork? The Men’s Shed is open to new ideas and there is also the chance to participate in Men’s Health and day trips.
All new and past members most welcome!

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
