About our shed
About Us
The Shed opened its doors in 2012 and an expansion in 2015 saw the workshop area double to what it is today which is 400sq meters and a 50 square metre patio area. The Shed is currently undergoing plans to double its current size. We currently have 97 members.
Our Shed has many enthusiastic members who’s life’s skills have contributed to a healthy vibrant organisation whose members support each other socially and mentally. We have a strong community client base and we are well known in the area for being able to repair and make any woodwork item. Our vision is always looking forward to cater for the next generation of Shedders.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
