About Us
Our Shed’s Objectives
-
- To promote good health, welfare and well-being of its members.
- To assist members in undertaking projects of various types including, but not limited to, woodwork, metalwork, model making, motor vehicle maintenance and restoration, hobbies and general repairs to home equipment.
- To promote good fellowship among its members.
- To engage with the local community and to actively seek to recruit new members.
- To mentor those seeking our help.
- To undertake, where possible, community work on either a free of charge or paid basis.
To promote the Shed and its members through the local media.

In addition we hold Women’s Wood working classes on Tuesdays= this is a 6 week course.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
