About Us
Our small group is a division of the National Model Railroad Association, NMRA. There are currently 9 divisions within Australia, New Zealand.
Over the past 10 years we have successfully built and exhibited this award winning Exhibition model railway display of which have travelled more than 600 kilometers to the Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney Australian Model Railway Association's annual exhibitions.
Our group meets on a monthly basis to operate trains on our current model railway layout. The layout measuring a staggering 12 meters in length and a little over 6 meters wide incorporates a double track mainline running through all types of scenery. Our complete branchline circuit services many small industries requiring hours of switching for operators. Trains can be made up in our prototypical marshalling yard after being brought out from one of the two twenty track storage yards within the centre of the display.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
