About our shed
About Us
Our shed is located on the corner of King Street and Raymond Avenue Bayswater. Entry is via King Street and our building is part of the Ranger station.
We have a host of woodworking and metalworking equipment, a welding bay, and an impressive timber store. We are developing our CNC capabilities starting with a small router, laser cutter/engraver, and milling machine.
We also have a comfortable air conditioned “Member Lounge”. Consisting of a kitchen and air conditioned seating area. Members can often be found working on small projects, learning new skills, or just having a chat. This is where we have Morning Tea from 10.00am until 10.30am. Workshop activities are not permitted during this time.
Members have free access to our WiFi network and help with technology is available.

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
