With the event happening in the lead-up to Christmas on 8-9 & 15-16 November 2025, Garage Sale Trail is a great way to fundraise and introduce new members of the community to your Shed.
In 2024, 35 Sheds participated in Garage Sale Trail, with community groups raising an average of $1,500 to fund their ongoing operations. Sheds organised garage sales, sausage sizzles and Christmas clearances selling secondhand and handcrafted items.
Participating Sheds have included:
“People will often bring in items in reasonable condition; we’d give them some TLC and sell them off for around $5. We try to make things cheaply available for people in the community as it’s important for the Shed to be able to give back to the community.”
