The AMSA Shed Online User Guidelines

by theshedonline

The AMSA Shed Online (Blog & Discussion Forums) is set up to provide the Men’s Shed community with an online platform to share information, projects and engage in general discussion. Common topics include general shed chat, health & wellbeing information, latest Men’s Shed & community news, shed projects and shed operations FAQs & troubleshooting.

Any approved forum member can comment on the published blogs and contribute to the conversations on the discussion forums. Users will need to complete a member registration form prior to participating on the site.

The AMSA Shed Online is owned and moderated by the Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA). Content is reviewed to ensure that messages are appropriate for users, however all messages and posts express the views of the author and AMSA will not be held responsible for the content of any message not of their own publication. Users are encouraged to carefully review any projects or templates before implementing at their own Men’s Shed.

Unacceptable posts will be deleted by AMSA moderators and membership to the forum may be cancelled.

Blog & Discussion Forum Rules

The AMSA Shed Online operates a three strikes policy. These “strikes” will be issued as infractions for any behaviour which contravenes the forum rules.

  2. Strike two will be an automatic two week ban.
  3. Strike three will be an automatic and permanent ban.

The AMSA Shed Online moderator’s decision on issues of unacceptable behaviour will be final.  Publicly posted complaints about moderation will not be tolerated, and will be regarded as a further strike.  If you wish to discuss a moderation decision then please contact
