Sheds conduct four main categories of activity:
* Mentl Health & Wellbeing
* Personal projects;
* Shed improvement projects,
* Community involvement projects
Members will be welcome to be involved in any or all of these according to their own capability or interest. Or just to come to the shed and have a chat with friendly guys as they go about their tasks or share a bit of company, either over a cuppa or working on a project.
Shed Activities
1. A general meeting and BBQ for members and visitors is held on the third Friday of the month.
2. Opportunity for members to work on personal projects, community projects, client projects and Shed development projects.
3. Wood and metal products are what members work with presently but this will change as interests develop.
4. We assist a number of community organisations to conduct their events by supplying manpower.
5. Social activities (film nights, guest speakers, outings, quite games, discussions, BBQ's).

Positive impacts
The Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) is the national service provider supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds and is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.
AMSA was established in 2007 by a collection of Australian independent community-based Men’s Sheds to represent, support and promote the Men’s Shed movement. It was founded on the principle of sharing information between sheds and those communities wishing to establish and operate a Men’s Shed. It acts as a central hub for information exchange.
