NSW Government Stimulus Men’s Shed Shovel-Ready Infrastructure Projects Round One

Round One-opens Monday 18 Jan 2021 and closes Friday 19 Feb 2021

Through a constructive and collaborative partnership between the AMSA, NSW State Government and NSW Men’s Shed Association, substantial funding of $2.4m is being provided as part of the NSW Government’s Stimulus Package to support local communities to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. A grants program will be delivered in 2021/2022 over two rounds to NSW Men’s Sheds that are:

  • Members of the Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA)
  • Currently sited on NSW Crown Land or
  • Those that have entered into an agreement with Crown Lands regarding a site.

 Sheds should check with their local Crown Lands Office to determine Crown Land status Phone: 1300 886 235, option 5

 Round One Grants

  • A total of $1m will be distributed
  • Projects must be ‘shovel ready’
  • Projects must be completed by 30 June 2021 or soon thereafter
  • Requests can include the:
  • Construction of a new Men’s Shed facility
  • Redevelopment of an existing building into a Men’s Shed facility
  • Improvements to an existing Men’s Shed facility such as disability access, works to increase Shed capacity and expand activities
