Men’s Shed Gathering at Baradine NSW
Baradine is 45 kilometres north-west from Coonabarabran NSW on the Newell Highway, has a total population of 600 and is Gateway to the famous vast forest of the Pilliga.
The Bardine Rusty Club Inc invites shedders to attend their Men’s Shed Gathering to be held on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th August 2017.
Shed members will gather on Saturday at the Showground to meet, exchange ideas and information, network, participate in Men’s Health seminars & workshops, ‘Spanner in the Works?’ health checks, attend the Australian Hearing Bus, visit information stands, have access to resources, talk to local health professionals, community and government agencies. To date a variety of services have confirmed their attendance including the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Alzeihmers Australia and the Memory Van, (flyer attached) Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and Guide Dogs NSW.
Dinner and entertainment will be provided on Saturday night.
On Sunday have a game of golf or spend some time relaxing with friends or exploring the region – the Warrumbungles, Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre, Dandry Gorge and the maginficent Sculptures in the Scrub, Pilliga Bore Baths.
